Hailey Amick

My true love and passion is music. It is not something I just want to do as a
career, but something I have been working on my entire life. Piano was my first
instrument when I was five years old, and saxophone was my next at age 8. The
outgoing center of attention on the stage has always been me since I was a little
girl, and there was never a dull moment as I sang every day. Currently I just
moved to Jacksonville and I am a independent performer traveling frequently for
independent’ music opportunities and traveling for the army band. I now want
to share the love of music with others, and help students of all ages and walks of
life to develop a love of music. I want students to get to experience music
coming from the music they love and hear everyday. I want students to
understand all context behind the music in which they play; the history, the
theory, and the sounds in which they hear and why?
